David Jacques Pelletier (born November 22, 1974) is a Canadian retired competitive figure skater. With former partner Jamie Salé, he is the 2002 Winter Olympic champion, the 2001 World champion, a two-time Four Continents champion (2000 & 2001), a two-time Grand Prix Final champion (2000-01 & 2001-02), and a three-time Canadian national champion (2000-2002).

Initially the 2002 Winter Olympic silver medalist behind Berezhnaya / Sikharulidze, he and Salé received gold medals after the vote of judge Marie-Reine Le Gougne were discarded, due to Le Gougne allegedly stating she had placed Berezhnaya / Sikharulidze first under duress of the French skating organization. Due to this controversy, the 6.0 scoring system, which was used at the time of the 2002 Winter Olympics, is now obsolete.
