Elena Igorevna Radionova (born January 6, 1999) is a Russian retired competitive figure skater. She is the 2015 Worlds bronze medalist, a two-time Europeans silver medalist (2015 and 2016), a two-time Grand Prix Final medalist (2014 and 2015), and the 2015 Russian national champion.
Personal Life[]
Radionova began skating at age 3, after her father took her to an ice rink in hopes of strengthening her legs and treating her club feet. Radionova's mother was against her skating at the time, as she was concerned about the practice environment being too cold. After Radionova's potential became apparent, her parents kept her in the sport.
Along with skating, Radionova loves writing songs in her spare time, and her favorite school subjects include algebra and geometry.
