Grace Elizabeth "Gracie" Gold (August 17, 1995) is an American figure skater. She is the 2013 and 2015 US national silver medalist, 2014 and 2016 US national champion, and a bronze medalist at the 2014 Winter Olympics team events.

Personal Life

Grace Elizabeth Gold was born in Newton, Massachusetts (7 miles west of downtown Boston) to Carl and Denise Gold. She attended ninth grade at Glenwood City High School in Chatham, Illinois (2.8 miles south of Springfield) before switching to University of Missouri High School, to better accustom her schedule.

Gold's hobbies include cooking, baking, paddle boarding, running, fashion, and juggling. She admires Kim Yuna and Michelle Kwan.

Career

Gold began figure skating training until the age of 8, after being inspired by watching figure skaters at a birthday party. She briefly competed in pairs with Sean Hickey, before switching back to singles.
