Maria Igorevna Petrova (Russian: Мария Игоревна Петрова, born November 19, 1977) is a Russian retired competitive figure skater. With former partner Alexei Tikhonov, she is the 2000 World champion, a two-time European champion (1999 & 2000), and a four-time Grand Prix Final medalist (silver in 2004-05, bronze in 1998-99, 2002-03, & 2003-04).
